We depend on donations. When you give to the Chalmers Community Services Center you can be assured that your money is going directly to people in our community who need your help.

Your financial contributions go a long way. They help us offer local people fresh fruit and vegetables, nutritious food items, and professional tailoring services.

Occasionally, we have special requirements. For example, at Christmas we offer Christmas Gift Bags to our guests.  The bags include new, practical items.  The bags are distributed the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before Christmas, at the two locations.  Please call the office if you are interested in filling one or 100 bags.

You can give to Chalmers in several ways. Cash or cheques are always appreciated. Some donors chose to give regularly with a modest monthly donation know as a PAR - pre-authorized remittance. PAR helps stabilize our operating funds.

We also welcome donated items. Non-perishable foods, clothing, and household items are always appreciated by the people who use our service.

The food pantry welcomes the surplus produce from your garden each Friday between 8 am and 10 am at 40 Baker St. and each Thursday morning 9-10 am at 577 Willow Rd.
